“Meet the Ultra Orthodox” Tour – Learn about Haredi fashion, music, and culture. Visit bookstores, synagogues, schools and shops in the neighborhood. Discuss the different sects and the role of women.
Feel free to ask questions – how does the dating system work? why do families have so many children? who supports the large families when parents don’t work? Why don’t they enlist in the army? What do the different dress codes mean? Why do they live in Israel?
Tours are 2.5 hrs long and can be booked privately or you can join a pay per person tour.
Every Monday & Wednesday morning there will be an English Tour leaving from Davidka Square.

See how they keep their traditions and taste their heritage. The evening begins with candle lighting and evening prayers in a local synagogue followed by a family meal.
A Friday Night Tish is an event that takes place after dinner in the local synagogue where followers enjoy singing and snacking with their community’s “rebbe” Rabbi. A guide will take you into the a few local “Tish” to experience the differences.
