This summer the Jewish Speakers Bureau in Jerusalem will be hosting a series of master classes for adults who are tourists or locals looking to experience Jerusalem.

It’s like summer camp for adults. Choose a topic and delve into it with one of the Bureau’s specialists as you tour the city through their lens.

*Narrative writing with Sarah Tuttle-Singer – June 23-25

Come on an adventure with Sarah Tuttle-Singer! Tiptoe through secret doors, discover hidden staircases, and unlock your own power as a storyteller.

Sarah Tuttle-Singer is the New Media Editor at Times of Israel, and the author of the book, “Jerusalem, Drawn and Quartered”. She writes about her life, and enjoys meeting new people.

Sunday, June 23rd:

  • 10:00am – 1:00pm: Morning Intensive: Work one-on-one with Sarah and with your small group to hone your narrative writing.
  • 1:00pm – 2:30pm: Sumptuous lunch at Te’enim, a dairy restaurant ensconced in the historic Yemin Moshe neighborhood
  • 2:30pm – 5:00pm: Afternoon experiential: Walk with Sarah through the Old City as you’ve never experienced it.

Monday, June 24th:

  • 10:00am – 1:00pm: Morning Intensive: Learn to write enticing, provocative and tantalizing prose.
  • 1:00pm – 2:30pm: Lunch at Eucalyptus, a meat restaurant situated in the Artist Quarter of the city
  • 2:30pm – 5:00pm: Afternoon experiential: Meet Sarah’s friends in all four Quarters of the Old City.

Tuesday, June 25th:

  • 10:00am – 1:00pm: Morning Intensive: Perfect the art of storytelling.
  • 1:00pm – 2:30pm: Three-course lunch at Darna, an authentic Morrocan meat restaurant located in a beautiful 200 year-old historic building
  • 2:30pm – 5:00pm: Afternoon experiential: Discover the best eating, shopping and people-watching in Sarah’s Old City.
