Some FUN stats about the project:

🌉It is 202-meter (663 feet) long (breaking the previous record of 80m)
💰It cost approximately 20 million shekel ($5.4m)
👷It took 7 intensive months of construction
🤝It is a partnership between government ministries & development authorities
⏲️It will be FREE and will open to all every day between 6am – 10pm
🌿Between 1949-1967 the area below the bridge was no man’s land
🚜Today there are loads of family-friendly agricultural activities to do in the Valley

On the Mount Zion side of the bridge, you’ll see King David’s Tomb, the Room of the Last Supper, the Chamber of the Holocaust, and Dormition Abbey.
