Commitment to your child’s creative process!
At The Open Studio we only have two rules.
1. Safety – the emotional andphyscial safety of all of our participants and staff
2. You can’t ask: Is this Good? or Am I done? Every child is challenged to answer these questions for him or herself.

“The Open Studio is made up of far more than crafts;
Without realizing it, children leave with values, an understanding of the creative process, and a commitment to the greater community with an understanding of the city they live in.” – Deena Glickman, Katamonim

This year’s camp will be led by our Assistant Director, Rivka Ben Hamu. Rivka has worked with The Open Studio for the past 4 summers. She is an accomplished baker and Fabric Artist and speaks English, French & Hebrew. She is also the mom of 8 amazing children, all of whom have been to the Open Studio camps. She lives with her family in Katamon.
