The Mystery of the Lost Map: A detective puzzle game for children and families at the National Library
Children and families are invited to set out on a special investigative mission, to trace the trail of the unknown thief and return the map to its place – in the library and in history. In small groups, accompanied by an adventure guide, collect evidence and connect the dots until you reach the solution. Along the way, discover clues hidden throughout the building, messages left by the unknown thief, and puzzles based on real books, manuscripts, and treasures from the library’s collections. Will you be able to reveal the identity of the mysterious thief and solve the mystery? (Recommended for kids aged 7+)
A Family Visit to the Library
Come discover the Library’s secrets and get to know this remarkable place up close. Together we’ll wander the halls, solve puzzles, explore big ideas, admire the building’s unique architecture, enjoy stunning works of art, and uncover a magical world of books and stories. Each child receives a special personal activity kit – “A Library Experience” – to help them explore the Library. (Recommended for kides aged 5-11).

A space for reading, playing and creating will be open to the general public. Admission is free when accompanied by an adult
Independent Tour Kit for Kids
You don’t have to follow the “order”: come discover the library in your own creative way. Take an independent tour of the building and the library’s permanent exhibition, equip yourself with an experiential activity kit full of surprises and hit the road! The kit can be purchased at the information desk in the library lobby.
