Jerusalem will host its first International Ice Festival from March 6th- April 30th 2012 in the Old Train Station Compound.

Come and see famous Jerusalem historical sites carved out of ice and enjoy ice activities. Logo

You may be wondering what will happen if we experience a heat wave in Jerusalem? Don't worry because the Ice Festival tent will be cooled to -10 degrees Celsius in order to ensure that the ice activities remain frozen. The sculptures are being created by over 20 Chinese artists flown in specially for the festival and this is a "must see" event.

Tickets are sold based on specific times and visitors are asked to arrive 15-20 minutes before scheduled ticket time. Tickets can be purchased through Bimot 02-623-7000.

Children ages 2+ must have a ticket. If you would like to book festival tickets and skating tickets then allow yourselves 30 minutes at the Ice Festival in order to see it all and then book the skating tickets for after.

Festival Activities:

  • Ice sculptures of Jerusalem landmarks: Israel Museum, Jaffa Gate, Tower of David, The Jerusalem Light Rail and more.

  • Ice Slides IceSlides

  • Ice Bar
