Rampart’s Walk

Take a walk in one of the most magical places – overlooking the Old City and the New City.

The Rampart’s Walk will be open for the week of Yom Yerushalayim.

The promenade is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers up to 4.5 km of safe walking, in the open air with exciting views of the old and new city.

Observation Points

South promenade – from the Jaffa Gate to the Western Wall – you will see Yemin Moshe, the Sultan’s Pool, Mishkenot Sha’ananim, Guy Ben Hinnom, rare views of the Armenian and Jewish Quarters, the Zion Gate complex and breathtaking views of the Mount of Olives and the Kidron.

Northern Promenade – from Jaffa Gate to the Lions Gate – rare views of the Mount of Olives, Mount Scopus, Santa Ana, the Muslim Quarter, the Rockefeller Museum, the Nablus Gate complex and the Christian Quarter.
