Israel Museum


The Israel Museum is one of the leading art and archaeology museums in the world. The museum has a variety of children’s activities in the Youth Wing, especially in the summer and during holidays. Children can enter the museum for free on Tuesdays. The Museum also contains the Shrine of the Book, Model of Jerusalem During the 2nd Temple and an outdoor Sculpture Garden.

The Museum has many different exhibits running at the same time.

Current Exhibits

“I to Eye” – at the Youth Wing – This exhibition uses artworks to examine how the virtual age deals with socializing. The exhibit focuses on the importance of real relationships in our lives.



FIJ Tips

The Israel Museum Kite Festival takes place each August and is a great time to get to know the museum. The recycle workshop in the Youth Wing is a great place to take kids.
