Yom Haatzmaut Flyover Air Show

One of my favorite activities on Yom Haatzmaut is watching the airforce flyover. I personally like to watch the planes fly over the Knesset or from the Tayelet.

BEST VIEWING SPOT – Gan Sacher, Jerusalem – 11.04am & 2.27pm

The Air Force has prepared a special show to salute the citizens of the State of Israel on its 75th birthday.

The flight path will cover the entire country.

Here’s a partial list of fly-by times for cities and towns.

  • Jerusalem: 11.04am
  • Tel Aviv: 11.16am
  • Haifa: 11.24am
  • Modiin: 11.33am
  • Beersheva: 10.12am
  • Ashdod: 10am
  • Netanya: 11.19am
  • Rehovot: 11.13am
  • Sderot: 10.04am
  • Beit Shemesh: 11.07am

The flyover will include F-15, F-16 and F-35 fighter jets; Lavi training aircraft; C-130 cargo planes; a Boeing refueling plane; Black Hawk, Sea Stallion, Panther and Apache helicopters; and Israel Aerospace Industries Heron drones. IAI drones are participating in the flyover.
