The National Library invites curious and creative children and teenagers to courses and workshops at the National Library’s new location in Jerusalem.
Each workshop is an experience with conversation experiential and practical experience in an inspiring learning environment. It doesn’t matter if you like to read, write, cut or illustrate – just come along and have fun!
Word Play (Years 7-10)
In this creative workshop you’ll cut, take things apart, glue, design, draw, rediscover familiar materials, and create new stories.
Led by Rinat Gilboa, illustrator and designer of stamps, maps, books and exhibitions, lecturer in the Foreign Studies Unit at the Bezalel and Moserara School of Art and Society in Jerusalem.
The Whole World in A Word (Years 7-10)
Can words create worlds?
In this reading and writing workshop you’ll talk about words that create life, about homes, loneliness and love.
Led by Noa Sorek, poet, workshop master and winner of the Minister of Culture’s award for emerging poets.
Kingdoms of Ink (Years 5 & 6)
When was the last time you met heroes, demons or monsters?
The reading and writing club is underway! You’ll read together about magical worlds, write about heroines and let your imagination soar!
Led by Odelia Goldman, fan of fantasy, superheroes and pirates, engaged in poetry and education and author of the book “Madam and Fog”.
