Authentic Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony & Storytime

When Almaz makes a mistake in school, she’s really embarrassed! Other kids tease her because they don’t understand her Ethiopian culture. How can she use her family’s traditions to make friends? She needs to host a BIG BUNA BASH!

Sara Arnold’s new children’s book is now available in Hebrew.

To celebrate the book launch to the Israeli market, Sara is hosting a special story hour over Hanukkah with a reading for kids and an authentic Ethiopian coffee ceremony and short workshop for parents at Gursha, an Ethiopian restaurant in Jaffa Street, Jerusalem.

The Big Buna Bash, which is illustrated by Roberta Malasomma, celebrates the dignity of difference and teaches the importance of respecting and understanding people from other backgrounds and cultures.
