Jerusalem’s Botanical Gardens is hosting a family-oriented event on Election Day.
Visitors can vote for their favorite Israeli wildflower out of eight candidates. The winning flower will be chosen to as the garden’s flagship seed initiative, aimed at preserving endangered species, and voters will be entered into a prize raffle.
Throughout the day, guided tours will take place across the garden, allowing visitors to explore the plant collections and unique garden sections.
A “flower train” will offer tours around the grounds, and there will also be workshops for the whole family that connect the theme of elections with the world of wildflowers and nature conservation.
