Dig for a Day – Pesach

Have you ever wanted to find a treasure? Now you and your family can take part in a real archeological excavation in the Beit Guvrin National Park.

Connect your kids to the history of the land – learn how to look for artifacts, sift through dirt from the Second Temple Period and go caving in an un-excavated cave. This is a great family activity that brings history alive.

Tour includes:

  • Introduction about excavations and the historical significance of the area
  • Digging and sifting
  • Cave crawl through an un-excavated cave
  • Summary at the pottery shed

Dig Times: Digs happen in the morning or in the afternoon | Last dig – 2.30pm (Erev Chag and Erev Shabbat mornings only)
