To open Jerusalem Week, in celebration of Yom Yerushalayim, The Israel Aquarium invites you to join artist Beverly Barkat ‘in conversation’ for a behind-the-scenes discussion about the process of creating her new exhibit “The Land of Poetics”.
It took Beverly over three years to create the exhibition which confronts one of the critical issues of our times – global plastic pollution. Her goal was to recycle the “trash” and turn it into art. To draw the visitors to come close and view the contrast of the trash inside that looks like art from the outside.
This is a must-see exhibition for artists and anyone who cares about the environment and planet earth.
