Valley of the Gazelle

The Valley of the Gazelle also known as Emek Hatzvaim is an urban park located in the center of the city. The park hosts a herd of Gazelles and dozens of flora and fauna, ponds, streams, walking trails and biking paths.

The new park will be open year round and visitors are invited to come and take a stroll or join an organized walking tour. The park is 250 dunam with lots of great “picture spots.”

The park was built by the Jerusalem Municipality with help from the Society for the Protection of nature in Israel, the Jerusalem development Fund and the Jerusalem Foundation.

Location: the park is at the corner of Tzomet Pat and the begin Highway.

 

FIJ Tips

The park is not for BBQs or soccer games because it is a nature reserve.
