Beit Avi Chai’s Annual First Grade Festival is nearly here!
It’s a really special event that makes your soon-to-be-first-grader really special and excited.
Ahead of the exciting milestone of starting school, Beit Avi Chai invites you to kick off the first school year with a celebration for the whole family, featuring a clowning performance, a creative workshop, a concert, and a meet-the-author session with beloved writers.
The ticket includes admission to a colorful, experiential fair in the courtyard, featuring sweet letter-shaped treats, face painting, letter-themed yoga, personalized letter illustrations, a memory capsule, live classical music, and other surprises.

A Collage Workshop for Notebook Covers: 10am, 12.30pm, 3.15pm, 5.15pm
In this workshop, you will create—with your own hands—a unique, personalized cover for a notebook that will accompany you through your first year of school.
Musical Storytime: 10:30am, 12:30pm, 3:15pm, 6pm
An original fairy tale featuring a beautiful language, a determined man who sought to awaken it, and a new generation of children who grew up alongside it. By Tami Shem-Tov, an author of books for children and young adults and a recipient of the Ze’ev Prize, the Bialik Prize, and the Leah Goldberg Prize.
