The Quest of Questions: A New Exhibition (Guided or Independent Tours available)
For centuries, philosophers, mystics, and scientists – Jewish, Muslim, Christian, and others – have grappled with profound questions about the relationship between humanity, the cosmos, and time itself.
In the exhibition “The Quest of Questions: Unlocking the Secrets of the Universe” rare original items from the National Library of Israel’s collections will be displayed side by side, tracing the intellectual journeys of these thinkers and inviting visitors to reconsider modern binary distinctions between science and mysticism, philosophy and religion, and other categories that are often treated as separate disciplines.
Like the Library itself, the exhibition offers a shared and timeless arena for inquiry and discovery, adventure and skepticism. It recreates, on an intimate scale, the enduring conversation that has unfolded across centuries among scholars, seekers, and visionaries from different worlds and traditions.
