Beit Avi Chai’s Short Story Competition for Kids

Beit Avi Chai and Carmel author Meira Barnea Goldberg invite you to discover lost treasures!

Boys and girls, aged 8-11 are invited to write a poem or a short story about a treasure and submit it to the competition.

Competition Rules

  • The competition is for children in grades 3-6
  • Submitted entries should be poems or short stories of up to 500 words
  • One entry per participant (if more than one entry is submitted per child, the judges will review the final entry)
  • The works must be original and written in Hebrew only

The selected pieces will win prizes and will be published in the online magazine “Young Man” on Beit Avi Chai’s website.

The competition is being held in memory of Yanai Kaminka who fell in the battle to defend our country on October 7, 2023.
