Pesach at the Jerusalem Biblical Zoo

Pesach is the perfect time of year for a family visit to the zoo!

Spring is in the air, the trees are in bloom and the animals are emerging from a long, difficult winter and are ready to play.

Find out what color the giraffe’s tongue is, how the elephants sleep, who the members of the chimpanzee family are and when the kangaroo cubs come out of the pouch into the yard.

Special Activities: April 19-21

• “Jerusalem Stage”: musical performances, musical workshops and juggling and circus performances in the entrance plaza
• “Discovering the secrets of the Zoo”:  a navigation game between the different displays in search of different characters
• Special, daily, guided workshops to create enrichment games for the animals
• Guided tours of the “Beit Chai” to introduce younger children to small & special animals – ferrets, turtles, snakes, hedgehogs and many others.
