Family “Design A Sign” Mosaics
Design your very own Mosaic sign! It’s important to come into the workshop with a design before you arrive. You will probably make changes during the workshop but at least Dana and the team will have the general idea in place. They will then get all the materials together and be on hand to guide you through the process.
Glass Mosaics
Choose your substrate that you will create your mosaic on. Learn to cut & shape & arrange small pieces of colored glass, stone, or ceramic tiles to form a pattern or image or just play with beautiful colors…and finish up by grouting & bringing your design all together.
Glass Fusing
Glass fusing involves heating glass pieces in a kiln to fuse them together, creating a single piece of glass that can be molded, shaped, and textured to create a variety of artistic and functional objects..glass platters, mezuzot & suncatchers, picture frames, signs, bowls, characters & shapes. Your project will be ready to be picked up within 2 weeks…however if you are a tourist or traveling you jump the line and we fire your pieces first
Glass Painting
This workshop involves painting on glass surfaces such as vases, plates or jars, using a variety of techniques such as outlining, shading and layering with special paints that can withstand the heat and adhesion to the glass surface.
Wax Workshop
Create unique hot chocolate, cupcake or beer havdalah candles and even wax hands!
Resin Art
Resin workshops make for the perfect outing for date nights, chol hamoed activities, multi-generational quality time with family visiting from abroad, ladies night out, bat mitzvot and birthday parties.
Tie Dye Workshop
Learn how to create colorful and unique designs on fabric shirts, pillowcase & bags using a variety of tying and dyeing techniques using our high quality procion dyes that won’t fade over time. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the process, and you’ll leave with a vibrant and personalized piece of wearable art. This fun and creative workshop is perfect for all ages and skill levels, and is a great activity to do with friends and family.
Slime Making & Shrinky Dink Combo Workshop
Learn how to make your own slime using a variety of ingredients such as glue, activator & coloring. You can choose from a range of textures and colors to create your own unique slime creation. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the process and offer tips and tricks for creating the perfect slime. This fun and interactive workshop is perfect for all ages and is a great way to learn about chemistry and experimentation. You’ll leave with your own custom-made slime that you can play with and enjoy at home.
Use a special type of plastic that can be decorated with markers or colored pencils and then cut into different shapes. The plastic will then be baked in an oven or toaster oven, where it will shrink and thicken, creating a smaller and more durable version of the original design. This fun and unique workshop is perfect for all ages and skill levels, and is a great way to create custom jewelry, keychains, and other decorative items. Experienced instructors will guide you through the process, and you’ll leave with a set of adorable and colorful shrinky dinks to show off to your friends and family.
