Pilgrimage Road Tour
The Pilgrimage Road, in the City of David, is a circa first-century route linking the Pool of Siloam to the foot of the Temple Mount. It has just opened to the public after 13 years of excavations. It’s is one of the world’s most significant archeological discoveries. During works, archeologists uncovered cooking pots, oil lamps, hundreds of bronze coins from the Great Revolt and even a sword belonging to a Roman Legionnaire. The stepped street served as the main thoroughware for Pilgrim’s during the Second Temple Period. Each footstep connects you to thousands of years of history!
