The yearly Jerusalem Lyric Opera Festival was established as a flagship event to show off Jerusalem as a destination for new and unique art & cultural experiences. The program includes special performances of the best known and most popular pieces of operatic literature.
The festival includes a live performance of Hansel & Gretel at Cinema City for the whole family.

- August 12: Rossini – La Cenerentola at YMCA (7:30pm)
- August 13: Hansel & Gretel at Cinema City (5:00pm) & Rossini – La Cenerentola at Harmony Center (7:30pm)
- August 14: G.Puccini Madama Butterfly at Cinema City (12:00pm)
- August 16: Chopin recital at YMCA (5:00pm) & F.Lehar Die Lustige Witwe at YMCA (8:00pm)
- August 17: One after midnight at YMCA (5:00pm) & F.Lehar Die Lustige Witwe at YMCA (8:00pm)
- August 18: G.Puccini Madama Butterfly at YMCA (8:00pm)
