Purim Parade “Adloyada” in Jerusalem

The Jerusalem Giant Puppet Parade (called the “Adloyada” in Hebrew) is much more than a procession of original displays and giant puppets – It is a complete experience.

This year there’s a new location –Ruppin Boulevard in Jerusalem—between the National Library & the Joint Museum.

Around 30 original displays will be presented for the first time in the parade, together with orchestras, dance troupes, and roaming characters.

The adjacent Ruppin Park will be transformed into a festive hub of activities for the whole family.

A colorful and joyful Purim happening will be held in the park, with street performances and activities for all ages, such as:

  • acrobats and stilt walkers
  • street theater
  • children’s face-painting stations
  • arts and crafts workshops
  • food stalls and relaxation areas
  • a stage with musical performances and children’s activities in a joyful Purim atmosphere

Ruppin Park will serve as a space to take a break, refresh yourself, and enjoy quality family time, without missing the magic of the parade itself.
