The concert is intended to serve as a strong and important embrace and prayer.
Togetherness gives us strength, especially at a time when we feel alone. Ribo’s “Elul” concert is one of a kind, with songs and “piyyutim” for the Selichot period from many communities and traditions – both Sephardic and Ashkenazi ones, ranging in origin from Moroccan Jewry to Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach.
It is difficult to describe the feeling of elation when the huge crowd sings as one – not only Ribo’s biggest hits, but also “piyyutim” and songs that they heard in their childhood home and/or in the synagogue during the Selichot period.
