Come and visit the newest art exhibit at the YMCA – Illuminations, when shadows become light.
When Shadows Become Light presents a group exhibition of works by alumni of Jerusalem Culture Unlimited (JCU) programs, reflecting on the fragile yet persistent nature of hope and creativity in the aftermath of war.
Over the past two years, the very act of imagining life beyond conflict has felt like a deferred luxury. Today, while the sounds of war have quieted, the days that follow remain weighted by their shadows. Between remembrance and repetition, light and darkness, the exhibition examines how artists navigate the delicate process of reclaiming meaning and continuity.
The exhibit is curated by Fadi Far.
