From the Archives of National Library of Israel

Many of us keep old documents, in drawers, in a computer, in an old binder or at grandparents. Some of these documents carry content of historical value, for the people, the society, or the country.

In an open gallery conversation with Matan Barzali, we will try to find out when and if at all, the documents in our possession transition from personal to national interest, whether the state and its institutions can demand those documents, and what the institutions are willing (or unwilling) to do to obtain them.
