The play tells the story of how August, a child with special needs who suffers from a rare facial deformation and was always home-schooled, adapts to his new school. August feels that he is a completely normal child. His sister and mother also think so. But will others in the new school be able to see him this way—as a clever child and faithful friend? And what will happen to you when you meet august? How will you see him?
The play Wonder tells a personal and collective story and deals in a special, moving, and comical manner with acceptance of those who are different, encouraging an understanding of the uniqueness of each of us.
