There’s something for everyone this August at the Museum of Italian Jewish Art.
There are free, daily, guided tours of the museum and an array of special events and activities for all the family over the summer.
Daily Guided Tours, 11am & 3pm
The “Family Matters” exhibit that delves into the meaning of symbols among Italian Jewish communities. The exhibition provides a glimpse into some of the most unique features of this phenomenon, as well as some of its social and cultural implications.
Daily Children’s Plays, 12 noon
The Benbina Theater is coming to the Museum to perform daily shows for kids (aged 3 – 10 years old), followed by creative workshops for the kids.
Family Treasure Hunts
“Mystery from the Land of the Boot” – a group treasure hunt that sends you on a quest to find the stories and secrets which are hidden among the museum collections. The game can be played in two age-adjusted versions – for small children (ages 3-12) and for older children (ages 12-16).
Costume Stands
Dress up stands for all the family. Transform into a medieval Italian family and have your photo taken to take home as a souvenir.
