Summer at Hansen House

Illustrators Orit Bergman and Anat Varashevski unveil an experiential exhibition for children of all ages at Hansen House this summer.

Illustration, which is conventionally two-dimensional, takes shape within the pages of a book. But, unable to resist temptation, it soon goes on a three-dimensional adventure, in which a yellow monster hovers between the spaces of the gallery, accompanied by a group of colorful and three-dimensional creatures.

This is an opportunity for young and old viewers to look at illustration outside the expected paper frame, to focus on the relationships between the characters, to unravel the close connection between the written word and the accompanying illustration and to be rewritten in the minds of the young visitors.

As part of the exhibition, there will be several events including creative workshops and story readings with the creators and partners.
