Come celebrate this amazing process, called cyanotype, and use it (and the sun!) to create beautiful, deep blue, prints on unique textile products.
A bit more about the workshop:
Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that produces a cyan-blue print and was used by engineers well into the 20th century to copy technical drawings (‘blue prints’)
In our workshop we will learn how to work with cyanotype. After testing out and creating quick prints with this material, each participant designs and creates a unique textile product of their choice (fabric tote bag or pillow case).
