The Workshop Gush Etzion

Wood Workshop in Gush Etzion

Wood Workshop in Gush Etzion

This vacation, your family can experience an incredible woodworking workshop and walk away with handmade pieces of Judaica!

Vacation Workshop Sessions: 9:30am, 1pm, 4:30pm

Advanced reservations are required!

You will have the opportunity to take wood from its’ raw form and create it into a finished piece, learning all aspects of the process along the way. Cutting, sanding, filing, gluing and varnishing by hand using custom woodworking machinery.

Do you know the story of the Lone Oak Tree on the road to Rosh Tzurim or the cherry wood found at the Cherry Festival each year? Using local woods with a story you will learn how the grain runs through your piece and enhances it.

Who is “The Workshop” for?

The Workshop (Sadna in Hebrew) is geared for kids/teens/adults ages 6 and over. Although there are adults supervising the session, younger kids will need more parental supervision than the older kids.

Safety is paramount and all the participants will be issued with safety equipment as needed.  The Workshop is approx. 2 hours and each participant will walk out with a finished piece.
