Tourist Guide Laundry & Dry Cleaners

Laundry & Dry Cleaners in Jerusalem

A trip with kids means lots of laundry. Sometimes you can pack enough to last you through but often you need a laundry option half way through. The most important local tip I can give you is DO NOT walk into a local cleaners or laundry with your laundry in a hotel laundry bag. That is a dead giveaway that you are a tourist and you can expect to receive tourist prices. The following are laundry and cleaning services that our readers have used and been happy with.

Zohar Cleaners- 9 Strauss St, 052-4411115

FREE Hotel Delivery!!! Have your clothes picked up and dropped off and avoid hotel laundry prices. Ask for Yaniv and tell him you heard about him on Fun In Jerusalem.

Star Laundry- 25 Jabotinsky St 02-566-9434

Located on Jabotinsky just up the street from the Inbal hotel. Their service is fast and reliable. They have a delivery service as well. If you are washing baby clothes you can ask them to use sensitive detergent and make sure to ask them to separate your whites and colors.

Shamai Cleaners- 7 Ben Zackai 02-648-1085

This Dry Cleaners/ Laundry is located just off of Emek Refaim between Katamon and Katamonim. I have personally used them and been happy with their prices and their quality. You will find that they have slightly lower prices because of the location. There is a parking lot in the back and you can grab a Hashamen Shwarma from next door.

Active Laundry- 54 Derech Beit Lechem 02-673-6444

Avi is the owner of Active Laundry and he is extremely accomodating and does a good cleaning job. He is even willing to deliver under certain cuircumstance. (Thanks to Leora for the info)

Ronit’s Laundry- 42 Rechov Palmach, Katamon 02-566-0856
