Pharmacy

Israeli pharmacies are one of the reasons that I love my aliyah. Pharmacists are highly trained and can often recommend medicines for you or your child without you having to visit a doctor. This comes in handy when you are in Jerusalem on vacation. The following is a list of my favorite pharmacies and ones that are open till late.

Superpharm-Nayot

This is a large chain of pharmacies in very useful locations. The Nayot branch (Rechov Burla 5) 077-888-0200 is located right next to the Botanical Gardens and is open till 12:30am. They also have branches in the center of town , Malcha Mall, Ahim Israel Mall and in Mamilla.

MediPlus- Katamon/San Simon

20 Shai Agnon 02-679-2632 Open from 8:00am-8:00pm. This is my favorite pharmacy. The staff is very helpful and they have a wide selection of products as well as medicine. They also have branches in Givat Saul 02-651-1155 and Sanhedria 02-582-2237.
