Every once in a while you need to stop what you are doing, take a step back and think about who helped you get to where you are. In light of a recent article in a local English paper, I feel that it is the right time for me to express my appreciation (Hakarat Hatov) to Nefesh B Nefesh. It was with the help of NBN that my family was able to break through all of the bureaucracy and plan our aliyah to Israel within 3 months. We came in August 2007 on a NBN flight which was a very moving experience. Even today just watching the videos of their flights arriving makes me emotional.

NBN continued to help us on our road to a smooth klita with workshops, business advice and through the virtual community they have created online through their email group, facebook and twitter. I always knew that if I had a question, I could direct it towards a member of the NBN staff. In fact, I started Fun In Jerusalem without any advertising because people in the NBN community wanted Jerusalem activity information in English and that's how it grew to the tourism website you see today.

Everyone has their own story and their own experience but I can say without a doubt that Nefesh B Nefesh and its staff have played an integral role in my successful aliyah.

I look forward to being connected to the organization for many years to come.
