Ramparts Walk: Old City Walls
Old City Walls: Rampart's Walk
Starting Point: In the courtyard behind the Tower of David at Jaffa Gate 02-627-7550
This is an exciting walk along the walls of the Old City. The walk provides great views and will give kids the feeling of living during the ancient times. My 5 year old loved the “shooting spots” the areas within the walls used to shoot bow and arrows. As an extra treat bring your own bow and arrow to give your kids a real feeling of what it was like to protect the Old City of Jerusalem. The path has hand rails all along and many steps but is not recommended for very small children unless you are wearing them.
