This is a great place to stop as you are walking into the Old City with your family. The museum is most suitable for kids ages 5+ but younger kids are welcome as well. All exhibits are behind mesh fences so there is no worry that your child will walk off with an ancient spatula.

If you call in advance the museum can arrange a special guide for kids and families, in English or Hebrew. This is a small museum and can be enjoyed for less than half an hour. During Pesach and Succot the museum offers wonderful kids & adult programming including tours of the Old City, storytelling and games.
