The Bloomfield Science Museum Jerusalem is an interactive and educational museum that makes science and technology fun for the whole family. They have ongoing exhibits, special workshops and shows. Call ahead to confirm the schedule of events for the day. When I took my kids there my son told me “I dont want to stay here the whole afternoon…I want to stay here the whole day!”. All of the exhibits are fun and exciting and they encourage the children to interact with them. The Museum is closed on Sundays.
Summer Workshops: Shadow Workshops & Monster University, a workshop inspired by the new movie where you will learn to make 3D figures of Sulli and Mike. Workshops are in Hebrew. Most guides in the museum can speak English. Workshops begin on July 8th and are available till 1 hour before closing. Read our Games of Light & Shadow Blog Post.
Summer Show: Monster in Jerusalem, a new silouette performance where Jerusalem street statues come to life. Schedule varies based on the day so call ahead.
Opening Hours: Museum: Mon-Thurs 10:00 – 6:00pm, Friday 10:00am – 2:00pm, Sat 10:00am – 3:00pm
In August the museum is open from 10am-8pm (last entry at 7pm)

By Car From Tel Aviv – From the highway entrance to Jerusalem, turn right onto Herzl Blvd. After passing a row of hotels, turn left onto Wolfsohn St. Take the first right, at the sign for the University and a left after going around the traffic circle. You’ll soon see the Museum on your left. Parking is ample and free.
By Bus Take Egged number 9, 24, or 28 to Hebrew University, Givat Ram. The Museum is a five-minute walk from there.
