The Center for Jerusalem in the First Temple Period, Yad Ben Zvi presents a creative materials workshop and story hour for children ages 5-9 will be held from 11:00 to 12:00pm, and 3:00pm to 4:00pm.
Come experience Jerusalem as it was in the days of kings and prophets. The spirit in matter - an exciting exhibit illuminating the city's magic. See the Built Model of Jerusalem - including its houses, walls and Temple. An exhibit including artifacts, illustrations and models depicting Jerusalem in biblical times. Guided activity for groups, families and individuals: From Alef to Tav – about ancient Hebrew writing, including experimenting with writing its script. The Jerusalem Below - on tombs and burial. Who gave the weasel signature rights - on letters, official seals and testimonies to the destruction. Like a bird in a cage - the Sennacherib campaign and the saving of Jerusalem Opening hours during Chol Hamoed Sukkot - 9:00 to 5:00pm. The site will be closed on Friday 24.9 (the first day of Chol Hamoed), and will be open on Wednesday 29.9 (Hoshana Rabba) between 9:00 and 1:00pm. Advance coordination of your visit is recommended.
