The Gihon opens its doors to the public on chol hamoed succot and visitors are invited to tour the facilities. Tours includes an explanation, tour, movie and slideshow. Topics include:
Green Energy: learn how they transform wastewater into agricultural fertilizer
Alternative Energy: learn how they produce biogas from sludge and use it as energy.
Water Recycling: Learn how they take sewage and purify it to transform it into water for agricultural use.

The water treatment plant is in Nahal Sorek near the Sataf on the road between Hadassah Ein Kerem and Tzur Hadassah.
