FAMILY EVENTS AT THE ISRAEL MUSEUM
Children under 17 enter for free during chol hamoed succot. Extra fee for workshops.
* Artists' Sukkah: Come create art with five renowned artists in a special sukkah built by them in the spirit of their work. 10:30am-2:30pm Sun-Tues.
* Live Music with different ensembles
* Sukkot in the Recycling Workshop: Make collage decorations inspired by masterpieces from the Museum
* Artists' workshops in the Activity Yard: 10:30am – 2:30pm, Tuesday also 4 – 6.30pm. Ages 7+
* Dramatic Tours of the Galleries: Sunday and Monday: 3 and 4pm; Tuesday 4 and 5pm. Ages 12+
Sukkot in the Israel Museum Library of the Youth Wing
Book Illustrators Workshop
Well known illustrators present their work and conduct a workshop for children. A ticket is required for each participant.
* Sunday Sept 26 12pm: Batia Kolton – Illustrator and comics artist
* Monday Sept 27 12pm: Ami Rubinger – Author, children's book illustrator, and cartoonist
* Tuesday Sept 28 12pm: Michael Levitt - Illustrator using collage, oil painting and Japanese drawing techniques.
* Tuesday Sept 28 5pm: Alona Frankel – Author and illustrator
Age 6 and up, NIS 30 per child; NIS 25 for Family Membership holders.
Don't stand in the long chol hamoed lines. Buy tickets for adults in advance
