Take a half an hour drive outside of Jerusalem and enter the Ben Shemen Forest just outside Modiin, which was the home of Reb Shlomo Carlebach. The Moshav Tour on Moshav Mevo Modiin is a wonderful family experience that can be customized to your families interests. Judy invites groups into her home and on to her farm to teach families about cheese making, weaving, and more. Tours can be given in Hebrew and in English. Judy has goats, birds, turkeys, parrots and dogs in her backyard.

The Moshav also has a pizzeria and Judy is happy to order lunch or dinner for guests who request it.

How to Get There?Take Route 1 to the Modiin exit and go through Modiin till you get to the 443. The Moshav Modiin exit will be on the left side of the road after Tzomet Shilat. When you enter the Moshav Judy will need to open the elctric gate for you and her farm is the thrird on the left "Chai Farm"
