Take a half an hour drive outside of Jerusalem and enter the Ben Shemen Forest just outside Modiin to Moshav Mevo Modiin, which was the home of Reb Shlomo Carlebach. The Chai Farm on Moshav Mevo Modiin is a wonderful family experience that can be customized to your families interests. Judy invites groups into her air conditioned visitors center and to her farm to teach families about cheese making, weaving, and more. Tours can be given in Hebrew and in English. Judy has goats, birds, turkeys, parrots and dogs in her backyard.
