!This is a unique attraction just outside Jerusalem. Learn about ancient agricultural customs and how they relate to Judaism. They have two different tour options:
- Learn about ancient agricultural customs and methods. Learn to live like our ancestors did in Israel.
- Learn how these ancient agricultural customs performed in the Mishkan relate to Shabbat.
Both tours are "Hands On". For example learn to plow, thresh, dye material, sift, knead, winnow, bake pitot in a taboon, sheer a sheep and more.
The activity ends with a 30 minute movie about Shabbat seen inside a cave (Hebrew or English).
Additional Kids Activities: Ride a children's train, mechanical camel ride, tractors, donkey cart rides and see a model of the mishkan
Optional: We can arrange for you to have a BBQ or food at the farm


Tour Length: 2.5 hours
Dates: Open Sunday-Friday 8am-8pm throughout the year. Closed on Chol Hamoed Pesach and Succot

Cost: 1200 NIS for up to 30 people. 35 NIS for each additional person (ages 3+). Cash or Check.

Directions: Take Route 1 from Jerusalem towards Tel Aviv and exit at the Shoresh exit. Follow signs to Beit Meir. Stay to the left at the fork in the road. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit. At the next roundabout take the 1st exit to route 3955. Turn left and then turn right into the Moshav Beit Meir gate. Inside Beit Meir make your second right and you will see a small wooden sign that says חוות שבת
It is a 25 minute drive from Jerusalem.
